yea, now it sounds like a grounding issue or the alternator they put it could have been glitched, always have that chance of a factory issue

it deff sounds like an alternator to me. and just cuz it's a year old doesn't mean anything, cuz at my job we get a whole bunch back that are only a few months old sometimes. And if you bring it to autozone to get checked, take it out because it's a million times more accurate. They Can test it while it's on the car but it's not accurate at all, usually never fails an alternator on a car, it's weird.

Well I think it's definitely a grounding issue only because the last alt looked like **** so I replaced it, but I still had electrical issues. At that time, the stater fuse kept blowing. The guys I brought it to had no idea what it was and I told them to check my ground. They replaced the ground wire by my battery and didn't charge me coz they had no idea if that was the fix. It did fix it for awhile (the fuse stopped blowing) but now I am back to this weird issue. I know when I replaced my alt, the wiring looked like ****. I guess I should replace the ground.

How can I test the ground?

Thanks all

you cant test the ground that i know of, you have to go through the engine bay and check to be sure all the grounds are connected, if im wrong i guess i learned something new, but i dont think you can test the ground lol

definetly something is shorting out, or you have a bad connection somewhere, either the alt. or the battery terminals. Check for corrosion on those, because i remember my car kept stalling and it was just bad terminals

Thanks, wellI replaced one terminal when I picked the car up the other looks pretty good. Maybe I will replace it just in case. Right now the car is fine. She starts up fine tho I have to pump the gas to get her going when cold. I'll be checking the alt wiring and the battery wiring.

Thanks all.

What are your mods?

Edit: More importantly, any power adders?
