07 Outlander- Idle Adjustment
#14
Only certain ones are compatible, most of the cheap ones are the bosch MVCI cable, so it's possible it'll work. Though in order to get it to work with toyota's software, a registry tweak was needed for me, so that may be the same for mitsubishi's software as well.
1. Go here and read carefully: https://mitsubi****echinfo.com/epacarb/
2. At the top click j2534 pass thru.
3. Read carefully then scroll to the bottom and click "detailed flash procedures". Then enter your VIN number.
4. Read the instructions and download CAN pass thru software somewhere in the middle of the page.
5. Check if the can pass through cable is working on your PC with the software.
6. If it works, you should be able to connect to your car and check your PCM hardware version number and the software installed on it. From the chart i originally linked, you should be able to see if it's out of date and needs updated.
7. If it needs updated, you'll need to subscribe to the mitsubishi website, it's $20 for 24 hours. From there you can download the TSB procedure and download the correct software you need. Then upload it via the CAN pass thru software.
