DVD in motion patch for NR261UM
* Any Changes made could destroy your MMCS Unit, do it at your own risk, backup any changes you make. *
- All I downgraded my unit and got it working - a temporary fix if anyone doesn't want to wait. -
So I downgraded my unit from v30.99 to 30.94, I have seen no lost in functionality and right now the DVD in motion hack works. All I did was copy over the LOADKING.KWI and ALLDATA.KWI from here http://www.deltainfo.ro/manuals/mitsu/outlander/ and replaced my LOADKING.KWI and ALLDATA.KWI with those two files. Download the CD-Patch below that and reinstall the HDD and run the update. ** Backup the original files before doing anything.
-- A little fun if anyone wants to mess with the screen files.
Note: When I did the downgrade I lost all my custom screen files, so if you are think you want to downgrade the unit do that first if planning to edit any screen files
Once you get the hard drive unlocked and hooked up to the computer you will notice it has 6 additional partitions ( I highlighted the MMCSs ones) J - O are all for the Unit for me :Note You probably will not have the exact drive letters that I had it assigned.

First thing I want to say is do NOT replace this file with anything. I did and my unit did NOT start up. I practically broke the entire thing until I replace the file with the original.

I always thought that the Bluetooth screen that came up when we got a call was utterly retarded ( I thought my unit broke the first time I got a call and flipped out ) So I figured I would replace that first. Here is the file Listed on the Drive

Here is it replaced

And I went online found an image, resized it and renamed the original to a _bak file and replace it with my custom image.

The Results

The other thing I did (but somehow my screenshot didn't save) was replace the Mitsu intro with one on the hard drive, like I've said before there are 4 additional files you can easily replace, or make or find your own.
-- Another thing I did was go through and replace my Blue background with a Green one.
now I did this in multiple location but here is one screenie

I was unable to find the "Blue Border" for all of the buttons because its embedded somewhere but I think the green on blue looks pretty decent.

at first, i made an error... the disc had the iso image itself. Burn it again with nero but not express, nero burning rom and then i had the 2 files on the cd. Try it and did not work. try it on a cd-rw then on a cd-r and nothing. the cd loads but nothing happend, no disc error.
I have MMCS version 31.06 i bootloader 1.09
I couldn't patched DVD in Motion with files from:
http://www.deltainfo.ro/manuals/mitsu/outlander/
and burned few CD's by NERO i MagicISO, always only "Checking Disc" and nothing more happened
Maybe I did something wrong but above I wrote exactly how I did success
I found files also at:
http://www.whatifoundonline.com/
I don't know maybe both files sources are OK, but I changed ISO burner soft to ImgBurn v2.4.4.0 (1,993 KB) downloaded here: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
When you open ISO file then ignore "Invalid or corrupt authenticity information" and burn as is but with speed x1
