Hi guys, I got my 2011 outlander last week and I have in dash 6discs changer. I was looking on ebay to see if I can find navigation system to replace the stock player and I found this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TQ:MOTORS:1123
does anyone knows if this will work with the original Harness or I have to buy some addaptors to make it work? plus I would like to be able to use steering wheel buttons too.
This is how my stock stereo is connected, I found 2 connectors taped over in there and there is another one taped over behind the glove box. does anyone knows what are the connectors for?
Thank you!

Don't get it, its one of those cheap Chinese knock offs. A friend of mine purchased it for his Outlander and from the very beginning it just felt cheap, it worked for 3 months, then random weird things started to happen, and then the screen just went out. The customer service support is non-existent. If you want to save some money from the Mitsu OEM navigation system which runs for around $1500 just do one of those reputable aftermarket installations, like recently one of the users of this forum did: https://mitsubishiforum.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=38951

Thanks for the reply, I was about to buy one but before to do this I asked the seller few questions and I sent him some pictures just to make sure I get the right connection and all what I got back as an answer was this unit does not support 6discs changer.
The reason why I was looking for one of this is that I'm a little bit affraid to do the connections. the one from china is custom made for outlander but again I don't know how good it is.
I have to see if best buy have some navigations and how much does they charge for installation.
maybe next week I have to go back to dealer because they promissed me they are going to install the bluetooth for FREE since de person I was dealing the price on my new outlader told me that the car is got bluetooth in it and when he tried to pair his phone he noticed that it;s not working, and after that I told him what the website says "bluetooth pre wired".
I don't know if after they install the bluetooth module I can use it for something if I'll change the stereo with a navigation unit?

Thanks for the bump on my thread. The aftermarket Nav install should be pretty straightforward if you've ever installed a car stereo before. If not, you definitely want to get it professionally installed. I believe that those other connectors are for the factory navigation.

Also, there is a HUGE thread about those ebay units on here. SEARCH!
