why do u think its the ecu......i can get a mas translator complete kit for around $366.95....so a bad maf could be causin all those problems.?....the stutering acceleration...the whole gettin stuck thing?

You can get a used gm maf and translator for under $180.00 why would you spemd that much for not much of a gain. The stock 2g maf is all you really need and if its bad can be gotten for next to nothing.

1.try getting a used maf and retest. Its the cheapest thing to do.

theres a possiblity if i buy used it might be another bad one!thats what i dont want....ill start with that ...and still check all other things like exhuast leak and vac lines again..what else could be causin this bad performance

They dont go bad that often, just get one thats off a running car so you know for sure. You have to fix the cel light first to eliminate that as a possiblity for yourdriveability issue.
