loud clicking sound when pressing brake in P
#24
SO I was in Calgary today and dropped in for them to check the clicking when I apply the brake when in park. I told them that it started happening one day and that I was 99% sure it wasn't always there.
THe tech said it was normal and invited me to check some of the new 2010 Outlanders. I hopped in 3 of them. One had 45km on it, one had 12,000km on it and I can't remember what the other had, but ALL of them had that click in them - and they were all brand new.
SO based on that, I am inclined to say it is normal, however I was pretty sure mine didn't do that at the start.
Now, those were 2010 models and mine is 2009. Also, mine is a V6, and I didn't think to make note of the ones I tested at the dealership (maybe there is a difference betweem the 2 engines, but doubtful).
ANyway, that's my story....
Cheers!
